Unfortunately, many of the questions aren't answered in product descriptions and are difficult to find elsewhere on the Internet. Every month I'll answer the questions you're most frequently asking Google, as well as mixing in a few of the sillier ones just for good measure.
Where are IPSO washing machines made?
IPSO machines are made in Ripon, WI by Alliance Laundry Systems. Alliance Laundry also makes Speed Queen, Huebsch, and Unimac machines in the same factory.
Who buys used laundromat equipment?

How much does it cost to open a laundromat?
There are two paths to laundromat ownership -- you can either buy an existing business or you can build an entirely new business. Using a 2,000 sq ft business as a guide, you would need approximately $150,000 in liquid capital to build a new store. If purchasing an existing store we would expect at least $100,000 in liquid capital.
How do you convert a home washer to coin operated?
You don’t. And I’m not just saying that because we sell coin-operated machines. Residential laundry machines are just not built for shared use. The machine will break down and you would surely void any kind of manufacturer warranty with your retrofit.
What temperature do commercial dryers get up to?
The new IPSO commercial dryers we sell can be programmed between 100.4° - 190.4°F
How do I install a hardmount commercial washer?
Commercial washer installations are not DIY projects. If you don’t already know the answer to this question, then we recommend that you hire a professional to install your commercial washer. It will cost you a few hundred dollars but that is money saved compared to fixing all the problems that can be caused by an improper install.
I lost the key to my coin-operated washer, how do I get in?
If you know the key code, you can call any equipment distributor (like us!) and have one special ordered. Unfortunately, if you don't have that code you need to drill out the lock and replace the entire box. For security reasons, we do not track the key codes of coin boxes that we sell but we always encourage you to write that number down and keep it in a safe place.
