Alaska Install: A Midwest Laundries Job Recap

by Lauren Schultz May 08, 2025 0 Comments

We're based in the Midwest, but laundry problems don’t stop at the state line. This time, the commercial laundry job took us to Alaska.

Two members of our install team, Tom and Chris, traveled north to upgrade a laundry room that had outgrown its residential machines. The residential units had reached their ceiling—overworked, unreliable, and no longer meeting daily demands. The goal: commercial reliability, better wash quality, and a smoother day-to-day for the owner and staff.

Our team removed the aging equipment, cleaned up the space, and installed two commercial Speed Queen washers and a stack dryer. The result is a clean, professional setup that’s built to handle the volume and make life easier for everyone using it.

Why Customers Choose Midwest Laundries

At Midwest Laundries, we don’t just ship equipment, we show up. We take care of the details, we do the job right, and we stand behind our work. Whether we’re a few miles from home or a few thousand, our approach stays the same: thoughtful planning, expert execution, and long-term reliability.

As always, Tom and Chris delivered on all fronts. They completed the installation, provided setup and training to the staff, and even managed to take in a few glacier views. Not a bad backdrop for a work trip.

Started In Chicago. Now We're Here.

We’ve been proudly rooted in Chicago since the beginning, but our reach and reputation have grown. The name hasn’t changed—but clearly, the map has.
